Add Your Listing for Free

Realtors and home sellers can add their listings here for free. Realtors can also use the blog, however we have some rules:

  • When you sign up we will send you instructions on how to add videos, photos and how to choose  categories. If you don’t read it we will know. We don’t really have time to take care of your listings, so please read the instructions if you want your listing to do well.
  • You can not have affiliate links on your pages.
  • We are not responsible for any problems that arise from your listing. You are, so please remain ethical and legal.
  • Blog entries must offer tips or information about Siesta Key, not your listings. HOWEVER, when you sign your name you can add a link to your main site, contact info and a link to one of your featured homes on the site.
  • You can blog all day long, as long as the articles have quality
  • You can, and should, add your contact info for every listing, including your Website, but the link needs to open in a new window.
  • When a home is sold please return and add SOLD in red. Don’t delete the page. It will then go in the sold category. The point is to keep backlinks going to your site.
  • Follow instructions about choosing categories and adding text and photos.
  • Large photos will slow down the load time of your page. This is a problem for Google and Users. Use Photoshop or some other photo editing program to shrink the size of the photos. 400Kb and under is great.
  • CRITICAL - if you are ever caught editing another agents listings or a homeowner’s listing you and every post you added will be deleted permanently. Wordpress keeps a record of everyone that edits a page. We will know and the other agents will know.
  • CRITICAL - Never use content on this site that you have used elsewhere on the Web. This would create duplicate content and affect our ranking with Google. We have a program that monitors this so if you do it your post will be deleted and you could use your ability to be a contributor.
  • You will have an author profile page that will ink back to your site. You can add this link to your main site and tell people to read your articles.
